Corona Virus haven – avoid the social contact risks of a hotel!
If you have to travel and you need to stop over in these difficult times, then The Rear of the Plough B&B is the perfect haven – a place where you can stay comfortably isolated from others, that is thoroughly cleaned down between guests, and serviced so you can stay in control of your own space.
Located just 10 minutes drive from junction 16 of the M1, the two rooms are in their own separate annex and have their own separate entrances. Both are comfortably fitted out – room 2B – with a double bed and room NOT2B – with a double/twin option. They both have modern en-suite showers, instant electric heating and are equipped with tea making facilities, hair dryers and reasonable speed free WiFi connections. They have been carefully designed and built to combine traditional rural character with the comforts of modern living.
Breakfast can be taken in your room with no direct contact required and other meals/refreshments can be arranged with prior notice. Anti-bacterial soap and hand sanitiser is also provided for your use and peace of mind.
Even if you are social distancing, you can safely get away and enjoy the tranquil surrounding Northamptonshire countryside, the charm and community of an historic English village and easy access to a host of local sights, views and places of peace and beauty.
The owner is a keen cyclist and an accomplished golfer and can provide directions and advice on the best places to go if you want to take advantage of the superb network of cycling routes nearby and/or the wide range of golfing facilities within easy reach.
The Rear of the Plough Bed and Breakfast is tucked away in the glorious countryside between Banbury, Daventry and Towcester (known as the golden triangle). The accommodation is housed in a purpose rebuilt barn offering 2 beautifully appointed double en-suite rooms with full, traditional, locally sourced breakfast options cooked on the owner’s Aga.
