About

The Rear of the Plough Bed and Breakfast is tucked away in the glorious countryside between Banbury, Daventry and Towcester (known as the golden triangle). The accommodation is housed in a purpose rebuilt barn offering 2 beautifully appointed double en-suite rooms with delicious breakfast options, freshly prepared from an extensive menu of locally sourced produce to meet your requirements

Located just 10 minutes drive from junction 16 of the M1, the two rooms are in their own separate annex and have their own separate entrances. Both are comfortably fitted out – room 2B – with a double bed and room NOT2B – with twin beds. They both have modern en-suite showers, instant electric heating and are equipped with tea making facilities, hair dryers and reasonable speed free WiFi connections. They have been carefully designed and built to combine traditional rural character with the comforts of modern living.

The owner is a keen walker, cyclist and accomplished golfer and can provide directions and advice on the best places to go if you want to take advantage of the superb network of cycling routes and countryside footpaths nearby and/or the wide range of golfing facilities within easy reach.

Your own personal space to enjoy

The Rear of the Plough B&B is a place where you can stay comfortably isolated from others. However, there is also a comfortable outdoor seating area in the south facing courtyard that can be used for breakfasts and general relaxation when weather permits. Although the rooms are not equipped for preparing your own food –  everything is set up to provide breakfasts and light meals in a safe and practical way.
